Date, Peanut Butter & Chocolate Bars
These bars taste exactly like snickers! At first, we were skeptical but once we tried it out ourselves, we were seriously impressed. They are the perfect healthier alternative to satisfy your sweet tooth! Delicious, packed with protein and super easy to make. You have to try this 3 ingredient dessert at home!
- Peanut butter
- Chocolate (We used 56% cocoa baking chocolate, but you can adjust to your preffered taste)
- Optional: peanuts
First, melt the chocolate in the microwave or with some boiling water and leave to cool for a little bit.
Meanwhile, cut the dates in halves - if the dates have the seeds in them, make sure to remove the seeds.
Fill the dates with peanut butter to taste.
Once the chocolate isn't too hot to touch, coat the dates and peanut butter with the melted chocolate. If you would like, you can also add some peanuts to top them off. Put them into the freezer for a couple of hours. And there you have it, these delicious Snickers replacements!
